The inspiration for "Yuefenghua" came from the concept of "seeing the future". Yang Li inserted three frames into the space to enrich the spatial relation and express this concept. The use of Klein blue against a black and white backdrop creates a dramatic contrast, embodying the energy of the future.
What sets "Yuefenghua" apart are the frames inserted into the main areas - the entrance, discussion area, and sand table area. These frames, combined with colorful acrylic bricks, enclose the most important areas of the sales center, drawing attention and enhancing the space's atmosphere. The frame at the entrance is combined with transparent acrylic bricks, allowing customers to view the entire space from outside.
The design was realized using marble with black and white color, and colorful acrylic bricks. These materials, both rich in texture, create a stark contrast in color. The project covers a total of 300 square meters, providing ample space for these design elements to shine.
Yang Li's design process was rooted in the aesthetic perspective of New Modernism. The design returns to the essence of home in a rational way of thinking, emphasizing order and function while injecting peace, tranquility, and warmth. The result is a space that intertwines practicality and aesthetics, creating a light, luxurious, and comfortable living atmosphere.
Despite the challenges of modern design becoming a global practice and the concept of "less is more" becoming widespread, Yang Li managed to create a design that is innovative, diverse, and rich. The "Yuefenghua" project started in January 2020 in Hangzhou and was completed in April 2020.
In conclusion, Yang Li's "Yuefenghua" is a testament to the power of innovative design. By using frames and color, Yang Li has created a space that is not only functional but also visually stunning. This design, which was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2021, truly embodies the beauty and prosperity of life.
